You have to FEEL it to FREE it

Came across this quote the other day and it couldn’t be more true!
So often we deny our feelings, we refuse to accept things, we say it doesn’t do us good to get upset or frustrated. I for one used to be a person who had me emotions and feelings on such a lock down even I couldn’t see or understand them. I had learnt that to shut down was to be safe… but I was wrong!
Only when we FEEL. Only when we accept that something hurt us, that something triggers a response, that something makes us happy.. only then can we understand and only then can we release what no longer serves us and learn and grow to a new way of being that doesn’t cling but observes and that understand that to feel is strength and it is connection and that holds more for us- that holds freedom!
